Raipur. Only a few days are left for the Lok Sabha elections. Meanwhile, a bad news has come out for Congress. Senior state Congress leader Pushpendra Parihar has resigned from the primary membership of the party. PCS Chief Deepak Baij has made many allegations against former CM Bhupesh Baghel in his resignation letter.

Senior Congress leader Pushpendra Parihar wrote in his letter that, my mind is already torn by the dictatorial attitude and anti-people policy of Bhupesh Baghel. I had resigned from Congress earlier also, but on the persuasion of former state Congress President Mohan Markam, I re-entered Congress. But Bhupesh Baghel has interfered in all areas in Congress. By distributing posts and tickets to his favourites, he has created a strong lobby in the state. In Congress, loyal workers are seen and treated like slaves.

Resignation of Congress leader Pushpendra Parihar –

Congress high command increased caste discrimination

In his resignation, Pushpendra Parihar also accused the Congress high command, he further said that the Congress high command had also increased caste discrimination in administration and politics during its previous rule. Even today his policy is the same. Congress can never do well in Chhattisgarh under him. Bhupesh Baghel has hijacked Congress. He has made the atmosphere of the party such that no one can challenge him from anywhere. Bhupesh has sidelined his counterparts. Therefore, I am resigning from the membership of Congress.

Baghel sidelined former PCC chief

Pushpendra Parihar has written in his letter that, I am also saddened by the fact that former state president Mohan Markam has also been hired by Bhupesh Baghel, then what will be the condition of the ordinary loyal workers. This can be easily estimated. Bhupesh Baghel’s entire tenure was one of fear and corruption. The result of which everyone saw. Despite having a strong majority, Congress yearned to form the government. The sword of ED’s arrest is hanging over Bhupesh. Due to this, the image of Congress has fallen among the general public. Due to this, the loyal workers have become disillusioned. They are leaving membership in large numbers. I am also one of those people who believe that at least Bhupesh’s direct or indirect involvement in Congress will not be beneficial for the public.
