Raipur: Changes in the life of forest dwellers due to receiving forest rights letter

Raipur, 30 July 2020. The forest dwellers, who have been farming and living on the forest land for generations, have brought changes and happiness in their lives by getting the Forest Rights Letter. The people of the tribal and other sections residing in the forests did not always have the pain of eviction due to the lack of possession of land documents.
The Chhattisgarh government has not only removed the fear of eviction from their land by giving them a lease of the occupied land, but has also fulfilled the dreams of the former. Tribal farmers of village Kanchanpur in Mungeli district, Mr. Bhupendra Singh Sindram, Friday Singh Baiga, Jawahar, Raiwaram, Hemkumar, Bhikham have brought happiness in their life to many people.
Beneficiary Shri Bhupendra Sindram, Friday Singh Baiga said that tribal society celebrates forest as mother and god. They have been preserving and promoting forests. As a result, their entire life depends on the collection and partial cultivation of forest produce. He said that the state government has made a positive effort to improve the economic situation by providing forest land rights sheets to poor families like us. The beneficiaries said that apart from paddy on the land they got, they are also cultivating wheat, vegetables and maize. Due to which their income has increased. The beneficiaries thanked the government for this and said that the government has fulfilled their wishes.
