Raipur. In view of the Lok Sabha elections-2024, as per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, today the district administration organized “Sweep Rasrang” program for voter awareness at Raipur-Kala Centre. Chief Electoral Officer Reena Babasaheb Kangale participated in this program. On this occasion, the Chief Electoral Officer said that he is feeling happy with the sweep program for voter awareness in the beautiful art center premises. Youth power is a great power of democracy and voting is necessary to respect democracy. He urged to appeal for 100% voting in the locality and society.
The Chief Electoral Officer appealed for voting by saying “Vote Debar Jabo, Chunai Tihar Manabo”. He said that voting is a big responsibility to serve the country, all citizens should reach the booth and vote. Addressing the program, District Election Officer and Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh said that elections are the backbone of democracy and urged to increase the percentage of voting in urban areas. Collector Dr. Singh said that a cricket tournament is also being organized under the sweep. Apart from this, prizes will also be given to the voters who take photos at the selfie point and upload them on social media and get maximum likes.
On this occasion, SSP Santosh Singh expressed his gratitude and said that the election work will be done in a peaceful manner. In the sweep programme, all age groups gave attractive presentations and were also honoured. It was a wonderful program. Also thanked for this. On this occasion, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra, District Panchayat CEO Vishwadeep and other officials and NGOs of the city were present.
Chief Electoral Officer took photo in selfie zone
Under the sweep program, a selfie zone was created at the Folk Art Centre, in which the Chief Electoral Officer also got photographs taken and gave a message to the voters, appealing them to vote.

Sweep Khichdi was also organized in the voter awareness program, which was a center of attraction. The chief guest, senior officials and distinguished citizens tasted the Sweep Khichdi and appreciated the event. Children and youth of the art center gave a brilliant presentation in the voter awareness based program. Made voters aware through many presentations including songs, music and drama.
