Raipur. In the capital, 33 KV supply line was closed and maintained by the Electricity Department on Wednesday morning. Due to this, 23 tanks of the city have not been filled with drinking water in sufficient quantity. Water supply will be partially affected in the areas connected to these tanks this evening.
Executive Engineer of Filter Plant Department of Raipur Municipal Corporation, Narsingh Farendra said that this morning due to maintenance, the electricity department had closed the power supply for three and a half hours. Due to this, the city’s Changorabhatha, DD Nagar, Tatibandh, Kota, Kabir Nagar, Ramnagar, Gogaon, Jarvai, Mathpuraina, Lalpur, Amlidih, Avanti Vihar, Mova, Saddu, Daldal Seoni, Kachna, Amseoni, Rajendranagar, Shyamnagar, Khamtarai, Danganiya. The water tanks of Ganj and Gudhiyari could not be filled with water at full capacity. Due to this, drinking water will be partially affected in these areas this evening. Drinking water supply will become smooth on Thursday morning.
