Frustrated with the system, the elderly businessman himself searched for the thief for 10 days. Then on March 12, he also reached the thief’s house. After catching the thief, the businessman himself brought him to the police station and handed him over to the police. This entire matter is of Devendra Nagar police station area.
Thief wearing veil seen in CCTV
This incident of theft took place at the house of Gulabchand Jain, resident of Sector-1 of Devendra Nagar. Gulab is a businessman selling electronic goods by profession. He has made a warehouse in a room of his house. On the night of March 3, a thief jumped over the boundary wall of his house. She had covered her head with a saree veil to hide her face. The thief knew that CCTV was installed there.
Tried to break the lock, also lifted the bicycle
The thief also tried to break the lock of the warehouse door, but he could not succeed. After this he started filling the electronic items like lights kept in the verandah in a sack. The thief put his hand inside the window and started taking out the items from there. At last he also picked up a bicycle parked in the courtyard.
The thief’s face was visible as soon as the veil was removed
The veil the thief had made from the saree to cover his face. She was constantly getting stuck in his leg. Disturbed by this, she removed the veil. Then his face was captured in the camera. When the businessman looked at the footage the next day, he saw an old employee working in the warehouse in the CCTV.
Search for yourself for 10 days
After the incident, the businessman himself handed over all the CCTV footage to the police. But no action was taken by the police. After this, the 70 year old businessman himself reached Ramnagar area while searching for a house. The thief’s father told that he was sleeping on top of the temple. There the accused was found wearing the same shirt with which he had committed the theft. After this the businessman caught him.
Accused handed over to police
Gulab Jain caught the accused from home and brought him to Devendra Nagar police station. Then the police interrogated the thief and he confessed to the theft. After this the police registered an FIR. Stolen goods have also been recovered from the thief.
The businessman said- the law should be improved, a lesson should be learned
When Dainik Bhaskar talked to a businessman about this matter, he told that many thieves are active in Ramnagar area. They are not arrested and sent to jail after the incident. Because of which such incidents keep happening continuously. He said that the theft is worth Rs 100 but the problem faced by the person is Rs 5000. Such laws and systems should be improved. So that the criminals can learn a lesson.
