Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai met the Chancellor of Amity University, Dr. W. at his residence office here today. Selvamurthy and Vice Chancellor Dr. Piyush Kant Pandey had a courtesy meeting. He honored Chief Minister Shri Sai by presenting him a shawl and insignia. Dr. Arun Patnaik was also present on this occasion.
Dr. Selvamurthy informed the Chief Minister about the important research and educational contributions being made by the University in the interest of society. He informed that the University of Chhattisgarh aims to develop human resources as well as fulfill the social needs of the state through tribal development, Jal Jeevan Mission implementation, herbal medicine development, agricultural productivity enhancement and skill development as well as capacity building of Chhattisgarh. Focusing on development. Chief Minister Shri Sai appreciated the work being done by the university for the development and social welfare of the state and extended best wishes to the university family.
