Raipur: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai released ‘May Mahtari Hav’ coffee table book published by the Public Relations Department.

The stories of 36 women who were beneficiaries of Mahtari Vandan Yojana have been preserved in a coffee table book.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today released the coffee table book ‘May Mahtari Hav’ published by the Public Relations Department in the state level inauguration program of Mahtari Vandan Yojana organized at Science College Ground, Raipur. In this, the stories of 36 beneficiary women of Mahtari Vandan Yojana from different areas of the state have been preserved. Through this coffee table book, the beneficiary women have shared their aspirations and dreams regarding Mahtari Vandan Yojana as well as their plans to utilize the funds received from the scheme. School Education Minister Shri Brijmohan Agarwal, Agriculture Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam and Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Lakshmi Rajwade were also present on the occasion of the release of the coffee table book.

‘May Mahtari Haanv’ coffee table pictorial book contains the stories of women from different districts of the state. Through this, she has shared how important Mahtari Vandan Yojana is for her, what is the meaning of Rs 12,000 annually in her life and for what needs she will use this amount. This coffee table book tells the story of a Pahari Korwa woman, an Anganwadi worker, a scrap dealer, a housewife and a vegetable seller.

The 36 stories of happiness collected in ‘May Mahtari Havan’ are the stories of happiness of Mahtaris regarding Mahtari Vandan Yojana. This coffee table book is dedicated to Chhattisgarh Mahtari. MP Mr. Sunil Soni, MLAs Mr. Rajesh Munat, Motilal Sahu, Purandar Mishra, Inder Kumar Sahu, Anuj Sharma and Guru Khushwant Saheb, Chief Secretary Mr. Amitabh Jain, Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. P. Dayanand and Secretary of Women and Child Development Department Mrs. Shammi. Many senior officials of the state government and public representatives including Abidi were also present during the release of the coffee table book.
