The Urban Administration and Development Department of the State Government has appointed acting Chairman after the no-confidence motion was passed against the Chairman in three urban bodies. According to separate orders issued by the department from the ministry, Mrs. America Krishna Kumar Sahu, councilor of ward no. 13 of Takhatpur Municipality of Bilaspur district, has been appointed as the acting president of Takhatpur Municipality. The state government appointed Mr. Dhanlal Deshalhare, councilor of ward no. 15 of Maro Nagar Panchayat of Bemetara district, as acting president of Maro Nagar Panchayat and Mr. Parmanand Sahu, councilor of ward no. 5 of Sargaon Nagar Panchayat of Mungeli district, as the acting president of Sargaon Nagar Panchayat. Has gone.
The state government has written a letter to the Chhattisgarh State Election Commission, giving information about the vacant posts of chairpersons after the no-confidence motion was passed against the present chairpersons in the three urban bodies, for necessary action for the election of new chairpersons.
