Big decision of Cabinet: Chhattisgarh Good Governance and Convergence Department will be formed, these decisions have been approved

Raipur. The meeting of the Council of Ministers at Mahanadi Bhawan Nava Raipur under the chairmanship of CM Vishnudev Sai has now ended. The Cabinet took many decisions in this meeting. These decisions also include the decision to form Chhattisgarh Good Governance and Convergence Department.

Let us tell you that for the successful implementation of the public welfare policies of the state government, for the best possible utilization of available resources and for quick resolution of public problems, a new Good Governance and Convergence Department has been formed separately in the state administration. With the formation of this department, along with better administration, easy access of public welfare schemes of the government to the public will be ensured.

Under digital governance, transparency will be ensured by promoting digitalization at all levels of administration. Research and administrative reform work will be done regarding new ideas and methods. Taking innovative initiatives in the field of good governance in the state, the department will award Good Governance Fellowship and Chief Minister Excellence Award in Public Administration. Atal Bihari Vajpayee Good Governance and Policy Analysis Educational Institute and Chhattisgarh State Innovation Commission will come under this department.

These important proposals were approved in the Cabinet meeting –

  • Krishak Unnati Yojana will be implemented from 2023-24, Rs 19 thousand 257 per acre will be given as assistance.
  • The name of Rajiv Nagar Housing Scheme will be changed to Atal Vihar Yojana.
  • The contract employee will get 30 days casual leave.
  • State Policy Commission will also be formed in the state.
  • Chhattisgarh Economic Advisory Council will be formed for the target of GSDP Rs 10 lakh crore.
  • Krishak Unnati Yojana will be implemented from 2023-24, Rs 19 thousand 257 per acre will be given as assistance.
  • The MoU with Tata Technology was cancelled.
  • Specialized Investigation Agency will be set up at a cost of Rs 185.80 crore.
  • The Education Minister advised to form a 15-member special task force to implement the National Education Policy-2020.
  • Jai Prakash Niyama Samman Nidhi will start again.
  • A fighter detained for less than 1 month will get Rs 8,000.
  • Those who stay in jail from 1 to 5 will get Rs 15 thousand.
  • Detained for more than 5 years will get Rs 25,000 per month, the arrears for the last 5 years will also be given.
  • Under PDS, sugar will be taken from the cooperative factory and will be purchased at the rate of Rs 35 thousand per tonne.
