Let us tell you that many areas of Bindranwagarh assembly constituency are extremely Naxalite areas and are considered very sensitive areas.
Congress MLA Janak Dhruv of Bindranavagarh assembly constituency discussed with journalists in front of Mainpur Public Works Department before leaving on the tour of Naxal affected area. During this he said that it has been three months since the assembly elections took place. I have demanded many times from the government administration to provide accommodation in Devbhog. But accommodation has not been provided till now. I have made security arrangements at my residence in Mainpur Nahanbiri at my own expense. He said that I do not have any arrangement for accommodation in Devbhog, I do not have any arrangement for my own living. In such a situation, where will I keep my security personnel? I have informed the administration about this matter several times.
MLA Janak Dhruv said that I am an opposition MLA, perhaps that is why the government is not making arrangements for my security and residence. Bindranavagarh assembly constituency is very big. People of Devbhog area have to come 100 kilometers away to meet me. The government and administration do not consider me a part of the legislature and hence are not providing facilities.

On this matter, Mainpur SDOP Bajilal Singh said that the police administration has provided adequate security to MLA Janak Dhruv. But providing housing is the job of the district administration. Today his security personnel reached the police station and informed that MLA Janak Dhruv Baigar has gone on a security tour. SDOP Bajilal Singh said that the police administration is serious about the security of the MLA and information about it has been given to Devbhog police station.

On behalf of the administration, Additional Collector Arvind Pandey said that according to the housing allotment rules, there is a provision to provide housing at only one place. If they have been given accommodation in the capital then they cannot be given accommodation in the district or block. If they want to take it in the district, they will have to leave their residence in the capital.
