A policeman’s wife has been murdered by slitting her throat in the assembly area of Raipur. The incident came to light when the wife did not receive her husband’s call. At present the Vidhan Sabha police station is busy investigating the matter.
According to the information, the woman Jolly Singh’s husband Shishupal Singh is posted in Sukma. He works as a dog handler. His wife lived in the police colony of Amasivani, Raipur. On Wednesday, the husband was calling his wife, but despite repeated calls she was not receiving the call.
Neighbors found a lock hanging outside the house
After this, Shishupala called the neighbors and asked them to go home. When the neighbors went to the house and checked, they found it locked from outside. Assembly station police was informed about this. When the police reached the spot and broke the lock and entered the house, the woman’s body was found in a suspicious condition.
As soon as information about the incident was received, the husband left for Raipur. Police said that after interrogating the husband and neighbors, some evidence is expected to be found.

The killer dragged the body into the house
Police said that the killer dragged the woman’s body inside the house after slitting her throat. Police found blood stains on the floor between the hall and the bedroom. Police have also found items like scissors from the spot. It is suspected that the woman has been attacked due to this. Police are scanning the CCTV cameras present nearby.

After this incident which took place in a flat in Police Colony of Raipur, top police officers are also present on the spot. Raipur Rural Additional SP Neeraj Chandrakar along with DSP Crime and the team of Vidhan Sabha police station have started investigating the case. Efforts are being made to trace the absconding accused.
