Under Sashakt Jashpur, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today distributed materials to the disabled people in his home village Bagiya. He distributed disabled certificates, bus passes and other materials to the beneficiaries.
The objective of the Strong Jashpur campaign is to strengthen Jashpur district in all areas like health, education, employment, tourism, roads, electricity, drinking water etc. by achieving the target in a planned manner and providing facilities. The scope will be all development block district Jashpur.
First action plan: Firstly, Sashakt Jashpur Abhiyan “From Disability to Empowerment” program is being run in the entire district, under this, all the disabled people of Jashpur district will be identified, proper treatment will be provided to all, disability certificates will be provided, necessary materials will be provided to them. And to provide employment to those who are interested by providing them training in skill development.
A survey has been conducted by the administration team in every ward of every Gram Panchayat of Jashpur district. According to the data received from the development block, the total number of disabled people in Jashpur district is 15488, out of which 884 are willing for employment after training in skill development.
