870 candidates from Chhattisgarh selected in Agniveer recruitment examination: Indian Army released the result; Training will start from May 1

The dream of the youth of Chhattisgarh to work in the Indian Army has been fulfilled. Indian Army has released the results of Agniveer Male Recruitment Examination. 870 candidates from Chhattisgarh have got success in this. This recruitment was conducted in December 2023 in Janjgir Champa district.

According to the information received from the Army Recruitment Office, 5532 candidates had participated in the recruitment process. In this, youth have been selected for Agniveer GD, Agniveer Technical, Agniveer Tradesman. According to official information, the results of Agniveer Clerk category will come within 1-2 days. At present, due to technical reasons, the results of clerk category have not been released.

selection doubled

The selection of people joining the army under the Agniveer Scheme of the Indian Army has doubled this year. In the earlier recruitment process, 434 candidates were selected but this time 870 candidates have been selected. All of them are from different districts of Chhattisgarh who will now join the Indian Army and protect the country in the coming days.

All candidates can check their results on Join Indian Army joinindianarmy.nic.in website. All these 870 selected candidates will have to reach the Indian Army recruitment office in Naya Raipur at 7:30 am on March 5. This army office is near Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Cricket Stadium.

Here the candidates will be briefed, after which there will be document verification. After this, the training of selected candidates will start in different training centers of the Indian Army from 1st of 2024. For information related to the recruitment process, Army Recruitment Office can be contacted on numbers 07712965212 and 07712965213.

There is still a chance to join the army

This year’s recruitment process is going on in the Indian Army. The application process for Agniveer has started from 13th February and will continue till 22nd March. For this , you will have to apply online on the army website joinindianarmy.nic.in . Agniveer Recruitment has been released for the posts of General, Technical, Clerk, Tradesman (8th and 10th Passed) Women Military Police and Regular Cadre Recruitment for the posts of Dharma Guru, Nursing Associate, Havildar SAC.

How to apply?

  • Visit Join Indian Army website joinindianarmy.nic.in .
  • On the home page, in the JCO/ OR/ Agniveer Enrollment section, click on the link for JCO/ OR/ Agniveer Apply or Login.
  • You will be asked to fill the captcha shown on the screen. Fill it and submit it. Now Agniveer login page will open.
  • Click on the registration link here. Information about required documents will pop-up, click on Continue button there.
  • Now you will get the necessary guidelines to fill the form. Read them carefully and click the Continue button.
  • Now start the further process of filling the form. Keep filling the requested information.
  • Finally submit the fees online. Don’t forget to take a printout of the form.

  • Indian Army Public Relations Officer Shantanu Pratap Singh has informed that candidates aged between 17 and a half to 21 years can apply. Also review your eligibility criteria thoroughly before applying.

This is needed education

For the post of Agniveer General Duty in the Army, one must have passed 10th with at least 45 percent marks. Whereas for Agniveer Technical post, 12th (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and English) should be with at least 50 percent marks.

For Agniveer Store Keeper/Clerk posts, 12th with at least 60 percent marks and at least 50 percent marks in English and Mathematics/Accounting/Book Keeping is required. For Tradesman posts, one must have passed 10th/8th.
