Raipur 23 July 2020. The Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has instructed all ration card holders of BPL category under the state’s public distribution system to give one kg of free pulses per card in the month of June. On the instructions of the Chief Minister, the Food Department has issued allotment of arhar dal for distribution in government fair price shops in the month of June. Ration card holders of BPL category who are not able to take arhar dal in the month of June, can get free arhar dal in the month of June from their government fair price shops. In order to provide relief to the people in the adverse conditions caused by Corona virus infection by the state government, instructions have been given to all the collectors of the state to distribute the arhar dal distributed in the month of June to the eligible ration card holders in the month of July. Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department has today sent a letter to all the collectors of the state from the Ministry of Mahanadi Bhawan, asking to distribute the arhar dal distributed in the month of July in the month of June.
