Shakun Dahria, wife of former Urban Administration Minister of Chhattisgarh, is accused of taking over the land of the poor. Leader of Opposition in the General Assembly, Meenal Choubey alleged that the community building located in Shatabdi Nagar Telibandha is occupied by the family of former Urban Administration Minister Shiv Dahria. After this, investigation revealed that the organization had not one but two community buildings.
Capture of 15 thousand square feet land
Another building was allotted at a distance of 100 meters from the first building. There is a building built on 4000 square feet of land measuring about 15,000 square feet. Apart from this, chairs for sitting along with garden and beautification have been installed on the remaining land.
According to the information, the land on which the luxurious building and garden have been built was a colony built for the housing of the poor. It was shifted to another place and then construction work was done on the vacant land. After this it was given to Rajshree Sadbhavana Committee.
Dahriya said – Approval has been received from MIC only
Shiv Dahriya says that the community building has been allotted to the committee with the signatures of the Mayor in Council and the Mayor. There is no capture from the committee’s side. Other community buildings in the city have also been allotted to the institutions. The former minister said that there are Lok Sabha elections in the coming days, hence I am being continuously targeted. However, he could not show the allotment letter during the press conference.

Notice to vacate within 72 hours
Corporation councilors say that to provide a building, it is necessary to get the proposal passed by the general body after the MIC. After this, when the matter came to light in the General Assembly, Mayor Ajaz Dhebar had said that the entire matter would be investigated and the officer found guilty would be dismissed.
Only after this, notice has been issued to Shakun Dahriya, Chairperson of Rajshree Sadbhavana Committee. The notice contains an order to vacate the building within 72 hours.
Shakun had written a letter to Zone-10 in June 2022
