Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Shri Vijay Sharma today inaugurated the Eklavya Shooting Competition organized for the police and administrative officers of Chhattisgarh at the Eklavya Shooting Center and Weapons Training Center located at Rakshit Kendra, Raipur. In this competition, about 130 people including IAS, IPS, IFS and police officers and soldiers of the state are participating in this air rifle and air pistol competition. During this, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma said that this competition is an innovation and exercise. Through this competition, we will definitely win medals in big events in future. He said target shooting is not only a great sport to keep you active but it also builds self-esteem confidence. There are many physical benefits to taking up a shooting sport. Increased strength, endurance, balance, hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills are some of its benefits. On this occasion, Inspector General of Police Raipur Mr. Amresh Mishra, Superintendent of Police Mr. Santosh Singh and other participating officers were present.
