In the first phase of Mahtari Vandan Yojana, the process of taking applications will stop after 6 pm on 20th February. The provisional list will be released soon after verification of applications. After releasing the provisional list, claim objections will also be taken. The final list will be released after resolving the claim objections. After verification of all the applications received in the first phase, for the first time the amount for the month of March will be transferred to the Aadhaar linked bank accounts through DBT in the month of March itself.
It is noteworthy that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, the state government is going to fulfill the guarantee given by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to the people of Chhattisgarh. Under the scheme, one thousand rupees per month, thus 12 thousand rupees in a year, will be transferred to the accounts of eligible married women of Chhattisgarh.
According to the information given by the Women and Child Development Department, more than 70 lakh applications have been received so far in the state. In the first phase of Mahtari Vandan Yojana, along with the receipt of applications, the process of verification is also being done. After the first phase, eligible beneficiaries will be given the opportunity to apply again in the next phase. This process will continue continuously.
