Raipur. Sankalp and Sangwari panels established their presence in Raipur Press Club. Prafull Thakur from Sankalp Panel has won the post of President, Sandeep Shukla has won the post of Vice President, Treasurer Raman Halwai and Bamleshwar (Arvind) Sonwani has won the post of Joint Secretary. General Secretary Vaibhav Shiv Pandey and Joint Secretary Trupti Soni have won from Sangwari Panel. A total of 27 candidates were in the fray for 6 posts from 5 panels in the elections. There was fierce competition among the candidates. Voting will be held today from 8 am to 4 pm at the Press Club located in Motibagh. After this, the counting of votes started, in which Prafulla Thakur has won the post of President, Sandeep Shukla on the post of Vice President, Treasurer Raman Halwai and Bamleshwar (Arvind) Sonwani have won the post of Joint Secretary from the Sankalp Panel. General Secretary Vaibhav Shiv Pandey and Joint Secretary Trupti Soni have won from Sangwari Panel.
Know who got how many votes
For Joint Secretary, Trupti Soni got 232 votes while Arvind Sonwani got 194 votes. Raman Halwai got 218 votes for the post of treasurer. Whereas Dr. Vaibhav Shiv Pandey got 198 votes for the post of General Secretary. Sandeep Shukla got 298 votes for the post of Vice President.
