The newly constructed cow shed at Shri Parshwa Jeeva Maitridham located at Parshwatirtha Nagpura in Durg district was inaugurated yesterday by cutting the ribbon by Commerce and Industry and Labor Department Minister Shri Lakhan Lal Dewangan. Commerce Minister Shri Dewangan while addressing the program said that serving mother cow is a very virtuous act. All the Gods and Goddesses reside in Mother Cow. The usefulness of cow in our daily life cannot be denied. Cow is a life-long beneficial animal with the help of which a family can support itself. There are currently 65-70 animals in the shedd cowshed with all facilities and it has the capacity to keep 400 livestock. Today many cowsheds are being run by the Jain community. This is a matter of great joy.

We get milk, curd, cheese, cow urine etc. from mother cow, which is very useful for our body. Cow urine cures many diseases. The state government is continuously making positive efforts towards cow protection. The government is determined to implement various public welfare schemes. The construction of cow shed will provide relief not only to the people of the city but also to the people of nearby villages. In this cow shed, farmers are unable to feed the animals when they get injured due to accidents, become sick or grow old and leave them here and there. In this fully equipped cow shelter built by the Jain community, the cows will be treated, looked after and fed. On this occasion, MLA Shri Dharamjeet Singh said that the mind gets a lot of peace by visiting the Jain temple, worshiping it and listening to its principles. Jain society is a society that believes in simplicity, compassion, kindness and mercy. Jain society has an important contribution in human welfare. On this occasion, Mr. Ritesh Bais, Trust President Mr. Gajraj Pagaria and officials of the society were present.
