The process of filling applications to avail the benefits of Mahtari Vandan Yojana is going on continuously in the state. Since last February 5, 59 lakh 82 thousand 844 applications have been received under this scheme. Applications for this scheme are being accepted by the state government through both online and offline mediums. The last date for filling the application has been fixed as 20th February. On an average, more than 5 lakh applications are being received every day under the scheme. A large number of women are reaching the camps organized by the district administration in the districts to submit the applications.
It is noteworthy that Mahtari Vandan Yojana has been implemented by the Chhattisgarh government to promote women empowerment in the state. Eligible women will start getting the benefits of this scheme from the month of March. At present, forms are being filled by eligible women to benefit from the scheme. A large crowd of women is gathering in the camps being organized to fill the forms at Panchayat and Anganwadi level in all the districts. To avail the benefits of the scheme, a total of more than 59 lakh 82 thousand women’s applications have been received in the state so far, including offline applications and online applications on the portal.
Officials of the Women and Child Development Department said that the beneficiaries of Mahtari Vandan Yojana can now know about the status of their application and the action taken on it. The state government has provided the facility for the beneficiaries to know the status of the application form on the online portal of Mahtari Vandan Yojana.mahtarivandan.cgstate.gov.inWith the help of the link, beneficiaries can enter their registered mobile number or Aadhaar number and get information regarding the action taken on their application. It is noteworthy that under Mahtari Vandan Yojana, Rs 12,000 will be given to women every year by the state government.
