Raipur 20 July 2020. Empowerment of daughters was also taken up in the inaugural program of Godhan Nyaya Yojana launched with the vision of prosperous and prosperous Chhattisgarh at Adarsh Gauthan Behar of Arang development block in Raipur district today. In the program, all the guests including the Chief Minister were welcomed by the Women and Child Development Department with a bouquet prepared by the girls of the Government Girls House in the capital. The Chief Minister has encouraged the girls by appreciating the bouquets and rakhis prepared by them.
Collector Mr. Bharatidasan has instructed to take bouquets prepared by the girls of the girl child to welcome the special guests in the programs. Like the vase of real flowers, the girls prepare these vase with foam. Flowers do not fade so these bouquets can be decorated in homes for a long time. Their cost and price are also low. These bouquets prepared by the girls are being sold for Rs 250. This earns girls 50 to 100 rupees per bouquet. The administration has purchased 21 bouquets made by the girls for two programs. Along with studying, girls are making ashis in their spare time. From making rakhi to packing, the girls do it themselves. The girls also make other items including the Kendal stand, Pooja Thali, Diyas, bouquets.
40 girls of Balika Griha have prepared beautiful fancy ashes from grains, paddy, molly. The rakhis made by the girls are also being made available for sale by the administration. These ashes are priced from Rs 10 to Rs 200. The ashes prepared by the girls will also be kept in the stalls of Jawahar Bazaar starting in the capital. The ashes made by them are quite attractive and cheaper than the ones available in the market. So far, about 10 thousand rupees have been sold. Director of Women and Child Development Department, Smt. Divya Umensh Mishra, praising the hard work and talent of the girls, bought ash from them for Rs. 2 thousand. Collector Mr. Bharatidasan has also taken ash from them. 70 women groups of the department have also placed orders for 5-5 hundred queens.
The income from the sale of the roaches will be spent for the education of the girl child. With this income, the girls want to buy a good smartphone for online studies. The rakhis made by common citizen girls can be purchased directly from the girl child house at Khamhardih or from the District Program Officer, Women and Child Development Department, Raipur, at the office of the Collector. Local traders can also help the girls by purchasing these queues and selling them in the market.
