BJP announces candidates for Rajya Sabha elections, Raja Devendra Pratap Singh made candidate from Chhattisgarh

: The central leadership of BJP has announced its candidates for the Rajya Sabha elections to be held for various states of the country. BJP has approved the name of Raja Devendra Pratap Singh from Chhattisgarh. Let us tell you that voting for 56 seats of Rajya Sabha will be held on 27th February. Out of these 56 seats, one seat is also from Chhattisgarh. Presently, veteran BJP leader Saroj Pandey is the Rajya Sabha MP from here. According to the Election Commission, the tenure of the seats for which elections are to be held is ending in April. Currently, Congress has 4 out of 5 Rajya Sabha seats in the state. Results will come only on 27th February.
Voting will be held on a Rajya Sabha seat in Chhattisgarh on 27th February and the results will be declared on the same day. The Commission will issue notification for the elections on 8 February. The date of scrutiny of nomination papers is 16th February. Candidates will be able to withdraw their names till 20th February.
