Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today participated as the chief guest in the zonal level annual conference-cum-meeting ceremony 2024 of All India Kanwar Samaj organized at village Mudatoli of Kansabel development block of Jashpur district. Addressing the conference, the Chief Minister said that education is the basic mantra of development of any society. He said that education is very important for development in any field. Education is not limited to just job, education is an important means to go into the field of social service, politics, business along with better living. Today, better arrangements have been made by the government to provide education to children. It is the responsibility of all parents to educate their children. Chief Minister Shri Sai appealed to stop the increasing drug addiction among the youth and take the youth in the right direction. In the conference, the people of the society welcomed the Chief Minister with garlands.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the Prime Minister of the country, Shri Narendra Modi, has given him the responsibility of Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, expressing his confidence in your Kanwar community and tribal community. This is a matter of pride for the people of the society. He said that the blessings of the society remain upon him. Chief Minister Shri Sai further said that how to strengthen the society should be discussed through such conferences. He said that only two months have passed since the government was formed. During this period, PM housing for more than 18 lakh people has been approved and the outstanding bonus amount for two years of paddy has been transferred to the accounts of farmers. He informed about bumper purchase of paddy this year. He said that under Mahtari Vandan Yojana, money will start coming into the accounts of married women from next month. All you eligible women must fill your application. To benefit the tendu leaf collectors, the Chief Minister talked about increasing the price per standard bag to Rs 5500 and giving other benefits including bonus to the collectors, distribution of Charanpaduka, scholarship to the children of the family.
The Chief Minister said that there is a plan to provide a financial assistance of Rs 10,000 annually to landless laborers. Chhattisgarh is the land of Mother Kaushalya. Lord Shri Ramlala’s life has been consecrated in Ayodhya. He also talked about Chhattisgarh government providing darshan of Ram Lalla at government expense. In the program, Pathalgaon MLA Mrs. Gomti Sai said that this conference of the society must be held once a year so that the society can be taken forward on the path of development by connecting the new generation with the culture of the society. Chief Minister’s wife Mrs. Kaushalya Devi Sai, President of the society Mr. Bharat Sai, Mr. R.P. Sai along with all the officers of the society Ashok Sai, Salik Sai, R.N. Sai, Shivshankar Sai were present in the program.
Announcement of giving Rs 20 lakh for the community building –
Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai announced to give an amount of Rs 20 lakh for the community building on the demand of the office bearers of the society in the conference of Kanwar community. The people of the society expressed gratitude on the announcement of the Chief Minister.
Former President of Central Office Kanwar Samaj Pamshala, Shri Ashok Sai said in his address that today we are feeling proud to have our Chief Minister among our own.
