Mahtari Vandan Yojana has been implemented in the state with the aim of promoting women empowerment. Under the scheme, eligible married women will be paid Rs 1000 per month through DVT. Daughters have a special place in every house. During Teej-festivals, gifts and money are given to daughters and sisters with love. Chhattisgarh government has also increased the respect of lakhs of women of the state through Mahtari Vandan Yojana. The government has decided to give Rs 12,000 annually to women as a form of love, due to which there is a lot of enthusiasm among women. With the implementation of Mahtari Vandan Yojana, the confidence of women has won. Now their small wishes will not remain unfulfilled. There is an atmosphere of happiness among women across the state regarding Mahtari Vandan Yojana. This scheme has given a ray of hope to women which will pave the way for them.
Mrs. Preeti Singh, resident of village Ved Parsada under Masturi development block of Bilaspur district, has also filled the form today for Mahtari Vandan Yojana. She told that although her husband fulfills her every need. They love him a lot, but somewhere he was worried that he had no identity of his own. He has no income of his own. The amount received from Mahtari Vandan Yojana will give them recognition. They will not depend on anyone for their small daily needs. Mrs. Gayatri Aditya says that we women do household work 24 hours a day but in return we do not get any incentive for our hard work and sacrifice. Chhattisgarh government has taken care of us and honored our labor through Mahtari Vandan Yojana. The government has kept the name so well, Mahtari Vandan, it is a recognition of our hard work. Mrs. Ganeshi Dewangan also has similar views. She says that this scheme will definitely change our condition and direction. We will be financially strong. Mrs. Veeras Suryavanshi says that many times our wishes remained unfulfilled due to lack of money, we had to compromise with the circumstances, but through Mahtari Vandan Yojana, the government will provide us with honorarium to fulfill our wishes.
