Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao participated in the Kabaddi competition organized at Madkudweep in Mungeli district on Sunday. On this occasion, Shri Sao said that new facilities will be developed to promote tourism in Madkudweep. He also talked about building a sports complex there. The Deputy Chief Minister said that sports increases the spirit of teamwork and leadership and infuses new energy into life. Sports develop a healthy body and mind. He said that Chhattisgarh government is continuously encouraging sports and players, so that talented players can perform better at the national and international level.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sao awarded the winning teams of Kabaddi competition in Madkudweep. He encouraged the players by giving them shields and mementos. The winning team of the competition was awarded Rs 15,000 and the runner-up team was awarded Rs 11,000. The third and fourth placed teams were awarded prizes of Rs 5100 and Rs 3100 respectively. Shri Sao congratulated and congratulated the organizing committee for successfully organizing the competition. Former Assembly Speaker and Bilha MLA Mr. Dharamlal Kaushik and Mungeli District Panchayat member Mrs. Ambalika Sahu, local public representatives, officials and members of the organizing committee and a large number of Kabaddi lovers were also present in the program.
