Finance Minister Shri OP Chaudhary today held a review meeting with senior departmental officials regarding the budget of Home, Jail, Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Technical Education and Employment and Science and Technology Department in Mahanadi Bhawan Ministry in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma.
Shri Choudhary and Shri Sharma discussed in detail with the departmental officers regarding the budget of important schemes in the meeting. In the meeting, the budget of various departmental schemes like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, Chief Minister Gram Sadak Yojana, National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme including establishment of Science City, Astro Park and Central Laboratory and modernization of police force, construction of strong police stations were discussed. There was an important discussion regarding the grant.
Shri Choudhary and Shri Sharma reviewed the budget of the departments and discussed important issues in detail and also provided necessary guidelines to the concerned officers. Director General of Police Mr. Ashok Juneja, Additional Chief Secretary Mrs. Renu Pillai, Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Manoj Pingua, Finance Secretary Mr. Ankit Anand and senior officials of the concerned departments were present in the meeting.
