Light ‘Diya’ in every house on January 22 to celebrate the occasion of Shri Ram Lala’s ‘Praan Pratishtha’ in Ayodhya – Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai cleaned the premises of Shri Ram Mandir in the capital city Raipur using a broom, under Swachhta Abhiyan, giving a message of simplicity, service and cleanliness.
Today, Chief Minister visited Shri Ram Temple located in VIP Road, Raipur and had ‘darshan’ of Lord Shri Ram. After performing customary rituals, Shri Sai prayed for peace, progress and prosperity of the state. Thereafter, Chief Minister picked up a broom and swept the floor clean at the temple premises. It is noteworthy that on the call of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Swachhta Abhiyan is being conducted in temples and pilgrimage spots across the country.
On the occasion, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said that on the call of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, we have taken up this task of cleaning the premises of Shri Ram Temple. He appealed to the people of the state to conduct cleanliness drive in the temples, places of worship and pilgrimage places near them. He said that the ‘Praan Pratishtha’ ceremony at Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya will be held on January 22- the day for which the entire world awaits. Chhattisgarh is the same Kosala whose daughter, Mata Kaushalya gave birth to Lord Ram. Shri Ram sanctified Dandakaranya with the touch of his feet. The sweetness of Maa Shabari’s berries is still present in Chhattisgarh. Fragrant rice, fruits, vegetables etc. have been sent from our state as offering to Ramlala. A team of doctors from Chhattisgarh has also gone to Ayodhya to serve the Ram devotees. Appealing to the people of Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister said that on the occasion of Pran Pratistha on January 22, everyone should decorate their houses with flowers and light lamps.
On the occasion, Religious Trusts and Endowments Minister Shri Brijmohan Agrawal, Tribal Development Minister Shri Ram Vichar Netam, MP Shri Sunil Soni, MLAs- Shri Purandar Mishra, Shri Anuj Sharma, Shri Khushwant Singh, and other distinguished citizens were present.
