Raipur, 13 July 2020. The women of the self-help group adorning the wrists of the Corona warriors fighting the war against Kovid-19 are preparing attractive and adorable ashes. For the Rakshabandhan festival, these ashes are being prepared at the Multi Utility Center at Chest village in Dhamtari district. These ashes being made for different departments working in the Corona crisis will be based on their duties and services. The tricolor in the Rakhi of the Police Department, the symbol of the Red Cross in the Rakhi of the Health Department, the glasses of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi in the Rakhi of the Swachh Bharat Mission and the symbols of the other departments will also be emblematic. These beautiful and artistic figures made of bamboo and cow dung will decorate the wrists of Health, Police, Panchayat and Rural Development, Tribal Development, Women and Child Development Department and more than 10,000 brothers of Swachh Bharat Mission.
The Chief Executive Officer of the District Panchayat, Smt. Namrata Gandhi, said that the bamboo artistic reefs being prepared by the women’s groups are dedicated to the Kovid Warriors, who are engaged in the service of the people day and night. So far, one thousand each for Police Department and Panchayat Department, 2 thousand for Health Department, 3 thousand five hundred for Swachh Bharat Mission (Rural), 2 thousand for Women and Child Development Department and almost for Tribal Development Department 500 rakhi orders have been received. Apart from this, beautiful ash made of bamboo and cow dung will be prepared on demand of various non-governmental organizations, clubs and social organizations from other departments, the city.
