Deputy Chief Minister and Law and Legislative Affairs Minister Arun Sao shared his views in the Swami Vivekananda Memorial Lecture at Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU), Nava Raipur today. In the lecture organized by the University every year on 12 January on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, the topic this time was ‘Swami Vivekananda’s vision of inclusive governance’. Deputy Chief Minister Sao presented his views in detail in this third event of the annual lecture series. He paid tribute to Swami Vivekananda by paying floral tributes at his statue in the university. Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) V.C. Vivekanandan delivered the inaugural address in the program and Dr. Avinash Samal, Dean of Student Welfare, delivered the welcome address. Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, while addressing the students of the university, said that Swami Vivekananda had worked on eliminating social inequality by adopting inclusive governance. Our country is ready to lead the world. India is once again moving towards becoming a world leader. India’s strength is increasing in the whole world through inclusive governance and inclusive development. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for the needy, Ujjwala Yojana, Swachh Bharat Mission, which have become mass movements today, all these are examples of inclusive governance. Underlining the thoughts and philosophy of Swami Vivekananda, Saw said that when government schemes for the deprived and needy people If they make it, their lives change. Referring to Swami Vivekananda’s statement ‘Service to man is service to Narayan’, he said that society and country cannot become strong without empowering the weak. For this, inclusive governance is necessary. He gave the formula of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ to the people of the world. Referring to the lecture given by Swami Vivekananda in the Parliament of Religions in Chicago, Sav said that he introduced the whole world to our thinking, way of life, philosophy, social system and concept of family.. Sav said, Western Whatever our spiritual culture had disappeared due to blind imitation of culture, it was re-established. He said that Swami Vivekananda had laid emphasis on an education system full of morality, values and spirituality. He advocated an equal education system for all. He wanted everyone’s participation in democracy and inclusion with everyone’s advice.
Deputy Chief Minister Sao said in his lecture that the work done by Swami Vivekananda in his short life span of 39 years in returning the prestige and glory of Indian philosophy, culture and spirituality is unmatched. He clarified the path of inclusive governance through his philosophy. Sav appealed to the students to make Swami Vivekananda their role model, by reading him you will get new vision and new direction, your personality will improve and your condition and direction will change.
