Arang. The newly elected MLA of the area, Guru Khushwant Saheb, held a meeting of officials of all the departments of the Arang area in the presence of Arang SDM Dr. Atul Vishwakarma on Thursday and took information about the works. After introductory discussion with the officers and employees of all the departments in the meeting, MLA Guru Khushwant took information about the progress of the schemes, information about the works and problems being run from all the departments of Arang.
In the meeting, MLA Guru Khushwant Saheb gave instructions to the concerned officials to take action against those who illegally encroach on government lands in Arang area. While discussing with the journalists after the meeting, MLA Guru Khushwant Saheb said that the trust shown by the people of Arang has to be maintained. The first priority is to solve whatever problems the public is facing in the area. He said that complaints of illegal encroachment on government lands are continuously being received in Arang area. Encroachment of government lands will not be tolerated in any way. Strict action will be taken against those who have done this. The Arang MLA further said that the role of administration is very important in taking the ambitious schemes of the Central and State Government to the common people, hence a discussion has been held to ensure better implementation of public welfare schemes in Arang.
MLA Guru Khushwant said, instructions have been given to the officials to complete all the incomplete construction works in Arang soon. Discussions have also been held with the officials to ensure that the beneficiaries get the benefits of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for permanent housing of the poor as soon as possible. Arang Tehsildar Ramamurthy Diwan, Mandir Hasaud Tehsildar Vinod Sahu, District Panchayat CEO Kumar Singh, Municipality Arang CMO Horisingh Thakur, Block Medical Officer Dr. KS Roy, BEO NP Kurre and officials and representatives of all departments were present in the meeting.
