Kawardha Nationalist Janvichar Sangh accused the Muslims involved in the scandal of not taking action due to the protection of former minister Mohammad Akbar, in response to which the people of Kawardha made the BJP candidate victorious in the elections. Chandravanshi alleged that dozens of people who came from outside have been given ration cards within 2-3 years. District Panchayat, crematorium land and many government lands have been encroached upon in the last 3 years. A tribal woman was beaten up, but there was no hearing in the police station. Along with this, he was accused of building a mosque on the land of Gothan in Chilfi, Berla. Kailash Chandravanshi said that former minister Mohammad Akbar gave voluntary grant to 286 people in March 2022, which also included people of Muslim community of Modhapara, Raipur.
