A GST officer’s car met with an accident in the capital Raipur. The officer was going from Raipur to Gariaband with his family on Monday morning. During this, a truck coming from behind hit the car hard near Raipur Airport turning. The officer’s wife and daughter suffered head injuries in the accident. This entire matter is of Mana police station area of Raipur.

Victim Vinay Khalkho lodged an FIR in the police station saying that he is posted as Superintendent in CGST and Customs in Raipur. On Monday, around 9.30 am, he was going to Gariaband via Nava Raipur with his wife and daughter. When they had reached near the airport turning, a Dhamtari registered truck hit the car from behind. The car has been badly damaged from the rear.

Wife and daughter head injured

In this accident, Vinay Khalkho’s wife and daughter suffered head injuries, while Vinay Khalkho, who was driving the car, is safe. At present, Mana police station has registered an FIR in this matter and further action is being taken.
