The cabinet of Chhattisgarh government may expand soon. Regarding this, preparations have been started in the indoor stadium of Raipur. A huge stage has been prepared in the stadium. Posters and banners of the oath taking ceremony have also been put up. VVIPs from across the state will be invited to the programme.
CM Vishnudev returned from Delhi only on Monday. He met BJP national president JP Nadda, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Chhattisgarh state in-charge Om Mathur and co-election in-charge Mansukh Mandaviya. It is believed that during this time, discussions were also held with top party leaders regarding the cabinet. The high command will decide and send the name.
It is being told that another meeting of top BJP leaders may be held in Delhi on Monday evening. In this, the party high command will decide the names of ministers of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. After this these names will be sent to the state leadership. After this the new ministers will take oath.
Officials received preparation instructions
Officials have received instructions to prepare for the Cabinet swearing-in program. After the news of preparations in the indoor stadium came to light on Monday evening, speculations started that the swearing-in ceremony could be held on Tuesday. Although it has not been officially confirmed, swearing in may take place after the session.
The winter session of Chhattisgarh Assembly is being held from December 19 to December 21. If experts are to be believed, the swearing in ceremony of ministers may take place after the session. Till now even the MLAs have not been given official information from the BJP. Local leaders are in touch with the party high command.
Oath of the post of Chief Minister and Deputy CM taken on 13 December
Earlier on December 13, Vishnudev Sai had taken oath as the Chief Minister at the Science College of Raipur. Governor Vishwabhushan Harichandan administered him the oath. After him, Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma took oath as Deputy CMs. Chief Ministers of many states were present on the stage along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President JP Nadda and UP CM Yogi Adityanath.
