A runner suddenly fell and died during the marathon race organized in Nava Raipur. The deceased worked as a manager in a private company in Raipur. According to the information received from the police, Let’s Run Chhattisgarh had organized a marathon competition in Nava Raipur on Sunday. 46 year old Gajanand Ingle also took part in this race. He is posted as Senior Manager in a private company. While running to participate in the 6 kilometer marathon race, he stopped near PHQ. Then suddenly he fell on the road. Other runners around him tried to lift him up. After this the police and ambulance present there reached. After which he was taken to the hospital. Where the doctors declared him dead.

Competition in different categories

This time, the runners had kept cash prizes of more than Rs 3 lakh 51 thousand for first, second and third place in the categories of 6 km, 10 km, 21 km and 42 km races. This time the theme of Chhattisgarh’s Maina was kept in the race. More than 4 thousand people participated in this race.
