At the behest of the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Interpol had already issued a Red Corner Notice against Ravi Uppal. It is believed that after this, Saurabh Chandrakar may also be arrested soon. Police has got information about his location.
Mahadev App was a big election issue in Chhattisgarh. BJP had also included this in its charge sheet and election manifesto. The party had announced strict action if the government is formed. Money laundering case also filed against Ravi Uppal.
ED is investigating Mahadev App in the money laundering case. Apart from this, Chhattisgarh Police and Mumbai Police are also involved in the investigation. The ED had filed a charge sheet against Uppal and his partner Saurabh Chandrakar before a special Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) court in Raipur in October.

Ravi Uppal was living in UAE with partner Saurabh Chandrakar. The central government had blocked 22 illegal betting apps and websites including Mahadev betting app a month ago. Mahadev betting app was started with Saurabh Chandrakar.
In 2017, Ravi and Saurabh together created a website to earn money through online betting. However, initially this website had less users and earned very little from it. Saurabh went to Dubai for job in 2019. After some time, Saurabh also called his friend Ravi Utpal to Dubai.
Before Ravi reached Dubai, Saurabh had prepared a complete plan to earn money through betting website. After this both of them created a betting website and app by the name of Mahadev Book Online. Started promoting it through social media and other means.
Saurabh adopted two routes to expand the business of Mahadev Company.
First: Promoted the app through social media marketing and influencers.
Second: Bought other betting apps and websites.
Established a network of around 4 thousand panel operators
Through online betting app, Saurabh Chandrakar and Ravi Uppal had created a network of about 4 thousand panel operators in the country. Each panel operator had 200 customers who placed bets. It is being said that in this way both were earning Rs 200 crores daily. With this black money, he established his empire in the United Arab Emirates.
