Raipur, 05 July 2020. After completing the quarantine period, the workers do not have to wander for employment, for this the state government is providing employment in the district according to their skills. Roadmap is being prepared by the government and they are being connected to the construction works going on in different departments. In this series, 799 migrant laborers have been provided employment in the district by Dantewada district administration.
In Dantewada district, migrant workers have been employed in other activities including construction work in the Education Department, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, Public Works Department, Water Resources Department, Nagar Panchayats and Janpad Panchayats. These workers are being paid at the rate of Rs 190 per day. Employment has improved the economic condition of workers, along with that they and their families will not have to go to other states for employment.
