Dr. Daya Verma, husband of former Congress Rajya Sabha MP and candidate from Dharsiwa assembly seat Chhaya Verma, passed away on Thursday. This morning he was sitting and talking with his family at Chhaya Verma’s residence in Raipur, when suddenly he started having chest pain. After which he became unconscious.
The family took him to Mekahara Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Let us tell you that Dr. Daya Verma has been a government doctor. Chhaya Verma is the Congress candidate from Dharsiwa. Her husband Dr. Daya Verma was posted at Silyari Sub Health Center for a long time. His village Kirna is near Silyari, where Bajrang Power Plant is. His last rites will be performed in his home village. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel expressed grief.
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has expressed grief over the demise of Daya Verma. He tweeted- “Sad news has been received of the sudden demise of Dr. Daya Verma, husband of former Rajya Sabha MP and Congress leader Chhaya Verma, due to a heart attack. May God rest his soul in peace and provide strength to his family. We all are with him in this hour of grief.

BJP’s Dharsiwa assembly candidate Anuj Sharma expressed grief over the demise of Dr. Dayaram Verma, husband of former Rajya Sabha MP Chhaya Verma.
