0 Know the interesting story of CNI: This spiritual building stood on the foundation of unity, service and testimony: CNI is in 22 states of the country. Efforts for its formation had started from 1929 itself. Its outline was decided in the round table conference. In 1951 church bodies formed a Negotiating Committee. This included the United Church of India, Church of India, Pakistan, Burma and Ceylon, Methodist Church in South Asia and the Council of Baptist Churches of North India. After this, in 1957, Disciples of Christ Church also joined the talks. A new negotiating committee was formed in 1961. In 1965, this plan reached the fourth and fifth phase with representatives of all the organizations. On the basis of this blue print, CNI came into existence in Nagpur on 29 November 1970. At the last moment the Methodist Church withdrew from the campaign in South Asia. The Methodist Church, the British and the Australians joined this association. Thus, this organization includes The Council of Baptist Churches in Northern India, The Church of the Brethren in India, The Disciples of Christ Church, The Church of India (Church of India Burma and Ceylon), The Methodist Church (British and Australasian Conference) and The United Church of Northern India had joined. CNI could come into existence after traveling a journey of 41 years from 1929 to 1970.
Logo: To truly reflect the unity of CNI, a single logo of CNI was decided – Mono. Famous artist Frank Wesley beautifully depicted unity, testimony and service. In this, Ananj’s life was depicted through the red circle. The Golden Cross is a recognized and established symbol of the cross for Christians all over the world to remind them of the Savior Lord Jesus Christ. Christians find their name in this. This gold head is a symbol of the cross, dedication and sacrifice and the gold head is a golden crown. Gold is a sign of victory. The cross symbolizes Jesus Christ’s victory over death.

Red Back Ground: Red color is of blood. It is called the color of sacred worship. For this reason the color of the priests’ stole is red.

Lotus Flower: There is a lotus flower behind the cross. This lotus is the national flower. It is considered auspicious and sacred in all religions. Its white petals represent purity. It inspires us to rise up and work.
Golden Bowl:  There is a bowl in the center of the logo. It is used in describing the Lord. It is through this that Christians participate in the sacred sacrament of the Lord’s Supper. Drink the wine of holy blood. Who was shed on the cross for sinners. The golden bowl was placed in the center on a red background. So that the Lord’s Supper remains the center point of our lives and worship. Purpose – The three main words in the outer circle are unity, testimony and service. This binds every believer in CNI as one. The ancestors had seen this same vision.
