The accident happened in the assembly police station area. Both have been identified as Bunty and Laxman, residents of Pavani. Police have registered a case of culpable homicide against the Hiva driver. According to the information, two bike-riding youths were going from Raipur towards their village Pavani (Balodabazar) at 10 am on Monday on the Raipur-Balodabazar road. The highway was coming from Balodabazar towards Raipur. During this, Haiva hit both of them from the front. Due to this both the youths fell on the middle of the road. The bike was dragged for a distance and collided with a car coming from the front. In this regard, police station in-charge Deepak Paswan said that after getting information about the accident, the youth were immediately sent to the hospital after reaching the spot. Both of them died during treatment.
Truck crushes young man drinking tea
Last Friday, a young man who was drinking tea in front of Ambedkar Hospital in Raipur was crushed by a truck, due to which he died on the spot. The deceased had become a father two days ago. After the incident, the driver who was running away with the truck from the spot was caught by the police patrolling team after chasing him for about a kilometer. Maudhapara police station has arrested the accused truck driver Liladhar Pradhan and seized the truck.
