Raipur. RPF of Settlement Post has seized ganja worth about Rs 2.40 lakh from Raipur Railway Station. RPF has also arrested one accused. According to the information, in view of the assembly elections, Deputy Inspector of Railway Reserve Settlement Post Raipur AK Chaurasia, constable BS Thakur and other railway stations were present at pole no. under the foot over bridge at the Bilaspur end of platform number 02/03 of Raipur railway station. Near 05, a person was caught in suspicious condition with maroon and purple colored trolley bag with him. On enquiry, he revealed his name and address: Aamir father – Ismail, age – 22 years, Sakin-Nai Basti Mohalla, Upraus Kasba Maudaha, Police station-Maudha, District-Hamirpur (Uttar Pradesh). Then when he was interrogated, he said that the drug in both the trolley bags was ganja. The total weight of 2 packets kept in the trolley bag is 12 kg. Estimated price Rs. Intoxicant ganja worth Rs 2,40,000/- (two lakh forty thousand rupees only) was found.
