An ex-gratia compensation amount of Rs 30 lakh is being approved due to the death of a Central Security Force personnel in Naxal violence in district Kanker during the first phase of elections under Assembly Elections- 2023Due to the death of a Central Security Force personnel while on election duty in Dantewada district, ex-gratia compensation payment amount of Rs 15 lakh is being approved.
Due to the accidental death of three election workers in Keshkal in Kondagaon district, as per rules, a total ex-gratia compensation payment amount of Rs 45 lakh is being approved at the rate of Rs 15 lakh per worker . Apart from this, ex-gratia compensation payment amount is also being sanctioned as per rules to various personnel injured in Naxalite violence while on election duty.
