Raipur/01 November 2023. Senior spokesperson of Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee, Surendra Verma has said that in the last 5 years under the Bhupesh government, there have been positive changes in the standard of living of all sections of Chhattisgarh. Economic, social and cultural prosperity has become the identity of Chhattisgarh. During the 15-year-old misrule of Raman Singh, malnutrition, anemia, deaths due to malaria, unemployment, poverty and misery had become the identity of Chhattisgarh. Naxalism was at its peak in the state. In the last five years, due to the schemes of Bhupesh government, 40 lakh people in Chhattisgarh have come out of the multidimensional poverty line. The number of poor has decreased in cities and rural areas in the state. In three districts of the state, Kabirdham, Surguja and Dantewada, 23 to 25 percent people have come out of poverty. This is not us but the report released by NITI Aayog is saying this. According to this report released by NITI Aayog regarding Multidimensional Poverty Index, 13.53 percent people in Chhattisgarh have come out of multidimensional poverty. In the projected population of 2020, this number is more than 39 lakh 90 thousand. The proportion of population living below the poverty line in Raman Raj in Chhattisgarh was 29.90 percent. Which reduced to 19.37 percent in Bhupesh government. Senior spokesperson of the State Congress Committee, Surendra Verma has said that the reason for the prosperity that has come under the Bhupesh government is also clear. 24 lakh 52 thousand 592 farmers of the state are getting compensation of Rs 9 thousand and Rs 10 thousand per acre through the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. Input subsidy is being given at Rs. Financial assistance of Rs 7000 per year to more than 5 lakh 63 thousand landless agricultural labor families, which has now been announced to be increased to Rs 10 thousand per year. Special provisions for local youth in the new industry policy decided by Bhupesh Baghel government for 2019 to 2024. State Congress Committee spokesperson Surendra Verma says that during Raman Raj, no scheme was made without commission but there was corruption at the center of the schemes. Poor mobile, useless sky walk, cost of capital complex was increased by 10 times, RDA and NRDA were brought to the verge of bankruptcy, poor quality expressway which was dilapidated even before its inauguration, all the over bridges of which were destroyed by Bhupesh. The government rebuilt. Chhattisgarh’s unemployment rate was 22.2 percent in September 2018 during the Raman government, which has come down to less than half a percent under the Bhupesh government. At present Chhattisgarh is the state with the lowest unemployment rate in the country. Bhupesh government has waived off the loans of farmers, freed women’s groups from debt, given fair prices to crops and deposited money in the accounts of forest produce collectors. During Raman Raj, tribals were evicted from the rights of water, forest and land. Agricultural land was snatched from farmers and distributed among industrialists. Nandraj Pahad of Dantewada in Bastar was given to Adani, conspired to sell it to NMDC. Bhupesh government has given lease rights to the local population. The policy and intention is clear, the priority of Congress is the prosperity of the common people. BJP means misgovernance, broken promises, corruption and profit of a few capitalists.
