Raipur`1 November 2023/ Raipur Police is now seen in serious mode regarding Chhattisgarh Assembly elections. Police have banished two miscreants from the capital to the district on the orders of the court. These accused have 17 crimes registered against them in different cases. After district Badar, these accused will not be able to enter Raipur and its bordering districts.
In fact, in view of the elections, the police is continuously taking strict action against some habitual criminals. In these cases, the police first presented the case of two criminals before the District Magistrate. On which both were ordered to leave the district.
Crime record of the first accused
Both these accused are residents of Birgaon of Urla police station area. 6 cases have been registered against accused Vikas alias Ravana Madhukar (23 years) in 5 years from 2018 to 2023. In which the crimes of intimidating people, hooliganism, illegally waving a knife, luring a minor away and gambling are registered in Urla police station.
Crime record of the second accused
Apart from Urla police station, crimes are also registered against the second accused Mohammad Zuber (20 years) in Khamtarai police station. In which he has committed 11 crimes in the last 5 years. This includes serious crimes like hooliganism, assault, stabbing, threatening to kill, assault with scissors and robbery.
Entry banned in border districts also
Both these accused will not be able to enter Raipur and surrounding border districts. In these districts, orders have been given not to enter the borders of Durg, Dhamtari, Mahasamund, Gariaband, Balodabazar without the permission of the competent court.
Police are habitually keeping a strict vigil on miscreants
In this matter, Raipur City ASP Lakhan Patle said that the police is continuously keeping a strict vigil on the old habitual criminals regarding the elections. If they are found involved in any crimes, strict action is being taken against them.
