In the Chhattisgarh assembly elections, BJP and Congress are face to face over the betting app issue. Now the statement given by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel to the media is being discussed. On Saturday, he accused the Central Government and BJP and said that election funding is being done through the app owners, perhaps that is why the Central Government is not taking any action.

CM Bhupesh Baghel further said that the state government cannot do the work of closing the app, it can be done by the central government. He raised the question that if the app is not being closed, then has BJP taken election funds? CM said in a questioning tone – Why is the app still running in India? Why are the app operators not being arrested? Baghel said that the accused of Mahadev App hold parties with BJP people, so collusion cannot be ruled out. Recently, BJP leaders had even said that money from app operators is coming to Chhattisgarh from Dubai. . Terrorists are funding. Speaking on this, CM Baghel said- What could be more stupid and ridiculous than this. I am asking why the Center does not ban the app, why no action was taken even though we have taken action and more than 400 people were arrested.

BJP had talked about money coming from Dubai
Recently, Bharatiya Janata Party’s State General Secretary OP Choudhary, while cornering Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and the Congress Party regarding the betting app, had said that there is a possibility of terrorist funding through this online betting, hence the Chief Minister himself should come forward and lodge a complaint with the National Investigation Agency in this matter. Initiative should be taken to get the investigation done by NIA.

Chaudhary had said that the app operated from Dubai has the protection of notorious mafia gang D-Company. Earlier, Bharatiya Janata Party’s election media in-charge MLA Siddhant Nath Singh had said in Raipur – Money laundering is taking place through betting apps. Citing ED’s action, he has expressed apprehension that terror mastermind Dawood Ibrahim’s brother is said to be connected to Satta app founder Saurabh Chandrakar, so Dawood’s money coming to Chhattisgarh cannot be ruled out.
