What is the whole matter, know
According to the FIR lodged with the police, like most institutions, doctors and other medical staff have to give notice 3 months before leaving the job in AIIMS. If any staff leaves the job suddenly without giving notice then they have to deposit some money with the AIIMS management. In the year 2022, accused Yogendra Patel was posted in the post of Junior Account in the Finance Department of AIIMS.
According to the information, the accused, in connivance with many other employees and officers, collected Rs 75 thousand to Rs 1.5 lakh from those who left the job. But he shredded the old receipts and handed them over. The investigation by AIIMS management has revealed the fact that the accused had signed these false receipts. The money from the demand draft was also not deposited in the AIIMS account.
AIIMS management constituted an inquiry committee in August 2022 to investigate this matter. In which the professor, public relations officer and FCAO were made members of the three-member inquiry committee. Who investigated this entire episode closely. So it came to light that the staff and students who had suddenly left the job had given the money in demand draft. That too did not reach AIIMS account.
