Today, on the fifth day, 114 nomination papers were filed for 20 assembly constituencies of the first phase of Assembly General Elections 2023 in Chhattisgarh. Thus, till now a total of 127 candidates have filed 201 nomination papers for the first phase.
Today 16 in Pandariya assembly constituency, 9 each in Bhanupratappur, Narayanpur, Jagdalpur assembly constituency, 8 in Antagarh, 7 each in Rajnandgaon and Chitrakote, 6 each in Kawardha, Mohla-Manpur and Bastar, 5 in Dantewada, Dongargarh, Khujji. , 4 nomination papers have been filed in Keshkal, Konta, 3 in Kondagaon, 2 each in Dongargaon, Kanker, Bijapur and 1 in Khairagarh.
In the first phase, the process of nomination is going on in 12 assembly constituencies of Bastar division including Rajnandgaon, Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai and 8 assembly constituencies of Kabirdham districts.
It is noteworthy that nomination papers can be filed till October 20 for the 20 seats of the first phase of elections being held in two phases in the state. Nomination papers will be scrutinized on October 21 and candidates will be able to withdraw their names till October 23. Voting for the first phase will take place on November 7, while counting of votes for both the phases will take place on December 3.
In the first phase, voting will be held for Konta, Bijapur, Dantewada, Chitrakote, Jagdalpur, Bastar, Narayanpur, Kondagaon, Keshkal, Kanker, Bhanupratappur, Antagarh, Mohla-Manpur, Khujji, Dongargaon, Rajnandgaon, Dongargarh, Khairagarh, Kawardha and Pandariya assembly constituencies. .
