During intensive investigation by surveillance teams in the state, the figures of recovery of illegal money and goods are continuously increasing. As of October 16, this figure has exceeded Rs 5 crore 57 lakh. The surveillance team is keeping an eye on illegal transportation and collection of money and goods, in which till October 16, money and goods worth Rs 5 crore 57 lakh 18 thousand 352 have been recovered. In this, more than Rs 85 lakh 2 thousand 655 cash has been recovered.
During surveillance, so far 11 thousand 851 liters of illicit liquor has been seized, worth Rs 37 lakh 57 thousand 549. Besides, 1838 kg of other intoxicants worth approximately Rs 62 lakh have also been recovered. As part of the intensive investigation operation, officials have seized other illegal materials worth Rs 2 crore 03 lakh 563. Apart from this, more than 63 kg of precious jewelery and gems worth Rs 1 crore 70 lakh have also been seized during the search.
