Raipur, 25 June 2020. The Chhattisgarh government’s Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyaya Yojana has supported the farmers in the economic downturn caused by the global epidemic corona. After getting the first installment under the scheme, farmers have started preparing for the Kharif crop. Like other farmers of the state, Mr. Brijesh Sharma, a resident of village Rahangi of Bilha development block of Bilaspur district, has also benefitted from this scheme and has received an amount of Rs. 60 thousand as the first installment under the scheme. The scheme is providing financial help to the farmers. Due to which the farmers of the state are engaged in farming and farming work with double enthusiasm.
Farmer Brijesh Sharma told that agriculture is the only means of his livelihood. Which nurtures their family. Due to Corona crisis, he was facing many problems related to farming. But the state government’s justice plan has proved to be a boon for us under these circumstances. It is noteworthy that under the scheme by the state government, 19 lakh farmers of the state will be transferred an amount of 5750 crore rupees through DBT in four installments directly to their bank accounts. After the first installment, the second installment will be made available on the birth anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi on 20 August. Thanking the Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, the farmer Sharma said that it is only reflective of the sensitivity of the Chief Minister that he has made this scheme keeping in mind the interests of the farmers. Even in this difficult time, they are standing with the farmers and are constantly trying for their betterment. The amount of the first installment has brought prosperity in the family of farmers and there has been renewed enthusiasm among farmers about farming and farming.
