Congress has released the first list of candidates today. The second list will be released on October 18. State President Deepak Baij has said that the second list of Congress may be released on 18 or 20 October. For this, a meeting will be held in Delhi on October 17, after which the list will be released. It is likely that around 35-40 names will be released in the second list. This list will be released by combining new and old faces.

Today the first list of Congress Party has come, a total of thirty names have been released in this list. Voting is to be held on 20 seats in the first phase. In such a situation, its 19 candidates have been declared. Only the candidate from Jagdalpur seat has not been announced. Along with this, names of ministers of the state including Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Deputy CM T S Singhdev, PCC Chief Deepak Baij, Assembly Speaker Charandas Mahant have been released. Tickets of MLAs will be canceled in the second list also.

In the second list also, tickets of 10-12 MLAs will be cut. This time, the party is not giving tickets to all the MLAs whose reports are weak on the basis of the survey. From Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel to all the Congress leaders, they have been continuously saying that the party will field only winning candidates. New faces will be given a chance. Tickets of these MLAs were cut in the first list.

Among the MLAs whose tickets have been canceled, the names of Mamta Chandrakar from Pandariya, Chhanni Sahu from Khujji, Rajman Benjamin from Chitrakot, Devati Karma from Dantewada, Anoop Nag from Antagarh, Bhuvaneshwar Baghel from Dongargarh, Gurudayal Banjare from Navagarh, Shishupal Sori from Kanker. Are included. State Congress President and MP Deepak Baij will contest the elections in place of Rajman Benjamin. In place of Devati Karma from the Karma family, her son Chhaviendra Karma has now got a chance.

Names of candidates will be released on the lost seats in the second list.

At present Congress has 71 MLAs in the state. The party can release the names of its candidates on these 19 remaining seats in its second list. So that the candidates can get more time for their campaign.
