Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has given a big gift to the people of Patan area of ​​Durg district today on the occasion of Pola Tihar. He inaugurated the newly constructed bridge on Kharun river between village Ufra and village Raveli at a cost of Rs 8 crore 35 lakh 81 thousand and dedicated it to the public for transportation. About 50 thousand population of 24 villages of the area will be benefited by the construction of the bridge. With the construction of the bridge, the much awaited demand of the regional people has been fulfilled and the facility of direct traffic from the Durg district headquarters of the capital Raipur has become available.
    On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel visited Baba Kutir Hanuman Temple on the banks of Kharun River in village Ufra. He offered prayers to Lord Hanuman and wished for the prosperity and happiness of the people of the state. After this, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel participated in the Pola Mahotsav organized in village Mahuda. Addressing the festival, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel greeted the Pahuna sisters and villagers on Pora Tihar. During this, the Chief Minister worshiped the bulls and inaugurated the bull race. Local public representatives and a large number of people were present in the festival.
